Google Messages web app now supports direct reply

Google Messages on the web rarely gets updated, but a recent addition lets you directly reply to RCS chats like on Android...

I remember they where testing this when they first implemented direct replies

      Honestly, I’m just waiting for them to drop support for this app at some point and focus on another messaging app.

      Messages has been a great experience when I can find someone who also uses RCS, however.

        I mean in my experience anyone with Android phones from the last 5 to 6 years has been a good experience with RCS texting.

          True. My problem has been finding someone with RCS enabled TBH. Either their operator doesn’t support it yet, or they use an iPhone and it just goes as a normal SMS.
