I get that it’s open source provided you use codium not code but I still find that interesting

Plenty of developers prefer Macs to anything else.

Of course. They are pretty great battery wise. UX and OS is however inconsistent, buggy and frustrating. I had expected “annoying design decisions”, but not wrong and buggy ones.
