One of the most aggravating things to me in this world has to be the absolutely rampant anti-intellectualism that dominates so many conversations and debates, and its influence just seems to be expanding. Do you think there will ever actually be a time when this ends? I'd hope so once people become more educated and cultural changes eventually happen, but as of now it honestly infuriates me like few things ever have.

Fast forward to covid and we had our healthcare professionals lying to us. “Masks are ineffective.” “Sorry I lied. You’ll die if you don’t wear masks in public.”

They didn’t lie, they merely told the public what they needed to know. None of them ever said that masks were “ineffective”. That is a blatand anti-vaxxer lie.

Just that we needed to content with cloth masks so that the medical staff didn’t run out of professional masks because Jerry and Sofie of next door bulk bought an entire pallet because they were so afraid.

“Except if you’re a BLM looter, then racism is a public health emergency.”

At that point, the protests for equal rights were more important than the pandemic, yes.

Our leaders were locking us in our homes, closing our bank accounts, banning us from social media, shutting down free speech,

None of that happened except for the “stay at home” stuff, which is normal approach in EVERY pandemic up to this point, since we know it is so effective.

and effectively forcing us to take very minimally tested vaccines, repeatedly.

It wasn’t minimally tested. It was based upon the MERS vaccine, which was already tested for multiple years before Covid-19 even happened.

They gaslit us about the origin of the virus.

They did no such thing, nobody knew where exactly the virus came from. Except maybe China, but their communication with the West has been shaky at best.

Your post reads as blatant anti-vaxxer sentiment. I’m not sure I trust your statement that you actually got the vaccine.
