As threatened, a post for the worst margaritas you have had.

As for me - one time we were returning to a hotel as the bar was closing, said “oh, you are closing?” and the guy behind the bar said “Oh, no, I can make you something, no problem!” Husband asks for beer, I request margarita. Employee gets out margarita mix & tequila, ok so far. Not great but he’s closing I’m not gonna complain. Pours them in the shaker then gets out simple syrup and squirts it into the shaker for a solid 5 seconds - kept thinking he would stop, he did not stop, so much sugar. We paid because it was so nice of him to make us anything but it was absolutely undrinkable, literally 3/4 sugar. I can only guess maybe he was drunk himself.
