    This is what happens when you print money… and give it to people who already have all of the fucking money. If you gave it to the people worrying about bread, the relative value of each Deutsche Mark would still plummet, but since all the common folk have more Marks, it wouldn’t ruin their lives, and the bulk of the money would still flow toward capital.

    Libertarian jerkoffs who sneer at minimum-wage increases by saying ‘why not make it a thousand dollars per minute?!’ fail twice, because they don’t understand that would work. The global economy would reel as the petrodollar suddenly ends, but everybody’s income getting flattened out toward CEO levels sure wouldn’t leave any of them poor. It would suck value from billionaires until their relative purchasing power is only ten thousand times greater than people doing difficult and necessary labor.
