    What’s everyone having for dinner on this, the day the DT died?

      Some leftover potato and leek soup with a dinner roll for dipping. There’s also some sticky date for dessert, the thing I am most excited about.

      Salt and pepper squid, chippies and salad. There may be a nip of whiskey for the solstice later

          Nope. Solstice is 21/22 June - so not next weekend but hump day after that. For a given value of hump day.

      Looks amazing! Some leftover pasta carbonara (no cream). Had no special ingredients in the house and no idea what to make for dinner yesterday, it’s perfect for that situation.
