    What’s her ideal step 2 meant to be here?

    1. Glue myself to a road
    2. ?
    3. Climate change disaster averted

    Protesting in this way does not make me want to support the protester’s cause in any way. She’s not convincing anyone with the power to make positive changes to make changes, and she’s not going to be supported by a single person who she prevented from going about their day by being a prick.

      Yes exactly!! They need to protest quietly and indoors in their own homes where they can’t be heard or seen by us in any way shape or form.

        I said “protesting in this way,” not protesting in general. Who is she protesting, the public? Agriculture, industry, and power account for like 75% of greenhouse gases. Transportation is like 15%. Stalling transportation as a protest only increases the amount of GHG. What is the positive result of her supergluing her hand to the road, increasing the GHG emissions of all the vehicles she stalled? What is the #2? What is the best case hoped for result of this type of protest?
