I find it funny how deep the rabbit hole went. Scream is a parody on Slasher Films which are almost parodies of themselves. Then there is Scary Movie, a parody of that parody. I’m pretty sure there is a parody of Scary Movie out there until we come full circle back to serious axe murderer movies.
