It gets into the action really quickly, the game runs like a dream and honestly I don’t think I notice the basic graphics. I can’t get enough of this game!

I totally agree with you. It scratches that battlefield itch for me. Voice chat is amazing and really adds to the fun of the game too.
It’s not even that I don’t notice the bad graphics, it’s more like my brain upscale them when I’m in the moment!
Gameplay wise it’s close to perfect, but I would greatly prefer it with modern graphics. Aside from the aesthetics which I personally don’t like, it makes it harder to identify enemies sometimes. Obviously it’s not the most important thing, look how it’s doing on steam charts, but if it had even close to battlefield graphics (which is possible for small studios now) it would be GoTY for sure.
