1488 (sometimes 14/88 or just 88) is a Neo-Nazi dogwhistoe to identify other Nazis. The “14” refers to the “14 Words” phrase “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” The “88” part eferences the letters “HH” (H is the eight letter of the alphabet). 88=HH=“Heil Hitler.”
