I am currently dailying a OLKB Planck, and I have made extensive modifications to the modifier keys and the various functionality opened up by the firmware, but it has been a bit of a steep learning curve. How difficult has it been to adapt to having so few extra keys for layer switching? Do you just have to learn a bunch of chords?

I have been interested in these super minimal keyboards, but I am worried about getting tripped up writing code, since I have to access other symbols quite often.
