Yesterday, steam games were playing fine for the first half of the day. I went and rebooted my game later in the day and all of a sudden got horrible FPS (before this I was getting 120+ frame average now around 30-50) even though the game is using all of my resources. I tried lowering settings, but it still stuck around low FPS. I figured maybe I had a problem with my drivers, etc, so I re-installed and updated everything, but it still didn’t fix my problem. I today just re-installed my whole distro, arch linux, dwm, steam, and my games, yet I still have the same problem. I have no clue what the problem could be, I would be happy to give any information that could help de-bugging, I mainly came here to see if anyone else was experiencing similar problems and if they figured out how to fix it, or what is causing it. Also, I tested multiple games and used different versions of proton, custom versions like GE as well. They all had the same performance problems. Here is system info:
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
MB: A520 AORUS ELITE
KERNEL: 6.4.1-arch2-1
WM: dwm
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
