Who vets the self NSFW posts on Lemmy?

I have noticed a variety of new and active self post porn communities that have sprung up.

Now I like naked bodies as much as the next person, but some of these individuals seem a little too young… is anyone vetting any of this? I assume not? I hope I am just getting old or whatever, but I do wonder what the plan is to filter that stuff out?

Check with the admins of the instances the posts come from.

Depending on where the instances are hosted legal age depends…

Idk where LemmyNSFW is actually hosted, same with burggit.moe (my DSN says the domain gets resolved in Afghanistan) and other NSFW hosting instances

I have to agree, I ended up hiding all nsfw content as my own precaution.
