I am going sailing…
I can’t believe how people can commit such heinous sin by suggesting garbage websites like [movie-web.app]. Someone did this to me this morning and I was absolutely thankful enraged.

The worst thing is that people are actually paying to see ads. like, what the fuck.
The thing I hate to see is where you CAN’T pay to get rid of ads, like they won’t let you buy a thing straight up. They’re like “watch it free (with ads)” and that’s the only option – many things on Prime that used to have purchase options. That made me cancel and start collecting DVDs.
People have been paying to see ads for years. Amazon has had it for at least half a decade, Hulu had it before that (though much more limited in scope). Ad-supported is not a new thing. It’s just Netflix was relatively good at one point, before every media company and their uncle wanted a bigger slice of the pie.
Amazon offered prime video as a bonus service though, which was quite a steal for its price - you had both prime shippings and movies/series; the ads weren’t invasive at all too. And it was much cheaper than Netflix ad plan,
So… it’s okay to pay for ads if you don’t mind them? But your reaction is that?
Sounds like you just have a hate-boner for Netflix and found a way to express that.
Amazon is just as much a shit pile (more so in many ways) as Netflix. Being an apologist for their shitty behavior just makes your arguments that much weaker.
It’s okay to pay one or two bucks to see ONE ad at the start of a movie, getting much more benefits for 2 euro a month (which is how much I pay for prime video). And the ads are skippable too
With Netflix you pay 8 bucks for nothing in return, which makes me wonder… why?
People have been paying for cable for decades.
You’re not paying to see ads. They’re just subsidizing the cost of the service.
The ad-aupported tier is more profitable than Standard.
