The terrible thing is, it doesn’t matter where you are anymore. The more hateful, shocking, and deplorable things you say, get you more attention now.
For the past few weeks I’ve been trying to imagine what WW2 would have been like with today’s internet. On one hand I hope that having real time info on all the horrors would have ended the war sooner with much less death. On the other hand, we have real time info on modern atrocities, and our leaders still just pretend it’s not happening.
Because it’s Kelowna. I’ve driven through and stayed for an afternoon and it’s basically the Mississippi of Canada.

That’s sad to hear. A work colleague moved out there from Vancouver and described it as a “BC Napa”-ish type of area.
