    I agree with you 100% that it’s a sad thing going through these areas and seeing the state of things. However I do not think that they shouldn’t be able to vote, they are citizens of this country just like you an I are. Even though I vehemently disagree with their opinions and choices of representation, I don’t see any good coming from restricting a citizen’s right to vote. It has a similar energy to when the fascists have been suggesting raising the voting age to 25, and I’m not for any of it. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending any of their belief systems or culture war bs, but just like you and I have a voice, they should too (unless its hate speech or threats, then foh with that)

      I like to think of it this way; I believe in universal suffrage, but I sure wish some wouldn’t exercise it (at least, not the way they do…).
