Absolute numbers are somewhat irrelevant given the insane numbers of races in a season we see nowadays. As an F1 fan I love it but it must be pretty crazy specially for the mechanics being away from home for like 80% of the year. With that said the percentage of wins is what matters and that is absolutely impressive.
That’s 72% for Schumacher as there were 18 races that season.
For Max that’s currently 73% as there are 22 races this season. With his current form and 3 races left he will probably bump um that percentage.

He needs just one more win to beat Ascari’s record from 1952, which seemed all but impossible until recently. Absolute dominance.
