Hey guys i’d like to switch to Linux (maybe Manjaro) completely and I was wondering how good would be the performance of my AMD Ryzen 5 5600g on it while gaming, there’s any gamer with Linux here, I would like to read your experiences.

Do not switch to Manjaro. Manjaro is problematic. Go either arch or pop os, or something that works. Depending on the distro, you might have to update drivers to a more “unstable” version.

I am completely switched to linux. The vast majority of my games work and work well. Steam is obviously the most important piece to make this work. Bottles is also good and Lutris. For gog+epic games you can use the heroic launcher.

Unless the specific games / programs you want to play with don’t work, your experience will be actually very good. It’s amazing how good gaming has become on linux.

The great part about Linux gaming - you can use FSR1 for every available game squeezing a few more fps on a week hardware.
