This time last year we knew there’d be Waratte Toshikoshi! Sedai Taiketsu Showa Geinin vs Heisei/Reiwa geinin as the new year special.
But so far the website for NTV hasn’t updated to announce it’s plans.
Is this a good sign? Maybe negotiations are still ongoing?
As of last week, the current news is that the special won’t be happening again this year. On the bright side, because NTV saw drops in viewership, it seems there are talks over reviving the special. But we’ll have to wait and see. Almost definitely not going to change this year’s fate.
