I will probably make a full post of my history dealing with quitting smoking in the future. For now I will line out a new method since the last attempt failed.
My last attempt involved around the so called “ride the wave” as when the craving happens I will try to calm my mind and go into a meditation state, this however has been proven to be ineffective when the craving becomes so overwhelming.
This time, I decide to fight proactively, with this new technique “talk back”, when the craving happens I will ask myself “Why do you want to smoke, my Brain?”. Knowledge is weapon, I have so many answers to combat any nonsense my brain will come up with, at least this is the theory.
