The first is that the completely extreme anti abortion crowd who wants to ban abortion without exception are very small, they comprise 11% of the population. So they’re just no popular. The majority of conservatives aren’t actually against abortions, they’re just against loosely regulated abortions, so they don’t really oppose states like Kansas or Ohio voting the way they do. Also we’re on Lemmy which is a far left echo chamber in it’s entirety. This platform is littered with Marxists and American progressives, and there isn’t really much of anybody else. It makes sense that wouldn’t show up here.
