The Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel has ruled the referee and the VAR were correct to award Newcastle United's winning goal against Arsenal.
Fair enough. Personally I still think it’s a foul on Gabriel but it’s inconclusive so I’ve got to go with the on field decision.
Arsenal didn’t do enough to win that game, Newcastle scored that goal and defended well. Well played to them.
It was a feisty and close affair. Lost at SJP but I think we matched their energy well in the game.
Arteta has a right to think it shouldn’t be given though. He maybe went overboard with the “disgrace” comment but Arsenal have had the most apologies from PGMOL in the last 2 seasons. I think the reaction wasn’t purely based on the Newcastle game.
Thanks for an actual reasonable take from an arsenal fan. Don’t think any Newcastle fan would’ve complained with a draw. It was a tight game between two evenly matched teams decided by some very tight decisions. This is more often than not the way things go between two good teams playing for a win.

Neither team deserved anything except 1 point. Both were terrible

Summed it up perfectly
