Ok I see those numbers but my fps is at best around 70fps. What’s the sweetspot for the settings to get those 150fps and up. And mind you I have a 7950x3d paired with my 7900xtx. Also my monitor refreshes at 200.
This is not even new. The 6950XT was faster than a 3090Ti in 1440p and below, but cost $1100 vs the 3090Ti’s $2000.
It’s something about the architecture of the cards. PS5 and Xbox series both have custom AMD gpus as well and COD designs around console experiences so yeah it makes sense that AMD gpus would be better suited
Its pretty sweet, if you can stand the driver crashes.
I have a 7900 xtx, I’ve seen it running steady 300 fps on some maps on 1440p. Max settings Depth of field off and film grain off.
Now turn on DLSS. It’s game over for AMD.
Nvidia still scamming gamers post Covid. Time to wake up
Also has 4x the coil whine
Freakish outlier as all other Post 2021 CODs. But serious question, have you noticed the decline in graphic fidelity after MW2019?!
Not surprising, cod is unoptimized garbage for nvidia. runs at like 50% gpu usage, and 60% cpu usage.
another article who omits DLSS in order to write something AMD fanboys will appreciate.
MW3 is just MW2 so it makes sense.
cope
Ok i Will sell my rtx 4080 for 800€ to get rx7900xtx
Yeah AMD dominates COD. Dunno where they get the double the price nonsense though, the 4090 is 1600 vs 1000 msrp compared.
Nvidia raster is not so hot. They try to win with upscaling and ray tracing, but I dunno… people might want to take a hard think over what’s really worth having. Nvidia does have extras though in terms of productivity app stuff that AMD typically just never even sees an equal to. But man it’s depressing the price Nvidia has marked things up with such bad raster/power management and just hoping people live on upscaling.
For example RTX 4080 vs. RX 7900 XTX raster in average are almost identical, there are outliers which favor AMD or nVidia but in the big picture the RX 7900 XTX isn’t as great because it lack a lots of cutting edge technologies. So no, in rasterization the 40 series is great…
