Luckily they started talking instead of having some Beat-Style music and an Editor Window they type into.

I was going to replace a top on a convertible but had never done something that involved before. I found two channels that showed top replacement for the specific year an model. The first with several thousand subs was in English and had instructions like “OK, remove the valence panel”, then skip to the panel lying on the ground… Where are the bolts and clip points so I don’t break them??? Second channel had one or two subs and spoke no English but he took the camera and pointed at every bolt and clip location and communicated everything I needed to get it done.

I accidentally factory reset a VFD, which has hundreds of configurable options, and only by the grace of potato-quality tech youtubers, I was able to find a small handful of configs to make it work again.

A lovely southern USA gentleman showed me how to rejigger the video cable in my laptop (it had gotten pinched and was flickering intermittently). He also gently chidded the other video showing how to take apart the same laptop for doing it the hard way. The other video was a wonderful descent into cursing.

Sounds like the same guy who taught me how to tear-down and clean my lawnmower’s carburetor. Appreciate that man

Sometimes not even a accent. There is always that dude who keeps alt tabbing to the text document where he types things out for you.
