Do I need to buy Intel XMP ram for a MSI PRO Z690-A DDr5 or can I get away with buy an AMD Expo supported ram? What should I do as the AMD expo supported ram does come out cheaper?

Never gamble with RAM compatibility. You may end up with stability issues.

I am looking to buy RAM for my Intel Core i5 14600K and MSI PRO Z690-A DDR5 motherboard and I am choosing between these two:

      G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102 1.40V -0 (F5-6400J3239G16GA2-TZ5RK) - Price: £131

      TEAMGROUP D532GB 6000MHZ-CL30 Delta RGB bk K2 TEM ‎(FF3D532G6000HC30DC01) - Price: £115

Both are compatible with my motherboard and are intel compatible. Which one should I get?

There’s normally QVL ( Qualified Vendor List). Check your motherboard manufacturer’s website.
