Uh, what is this professors-over-admin-workers rant?
Professors are implied here to be highly educated intelligentsia and thus don’t need lowly uneducated admin workers enforcing, what? School policy they don’t even decide?
I realize this is from a site literally called “rant” so I don’t expect it to be a rigorous essay but there needs to be some background context and clarification of what is even being discussed. It seems like an attack on admin/office workers, many of which are organized in universities, in order to maybe promote the power of the already powerful faculty? If the point is to push faculty to organize, attacking working class people with less privilege than professors is not the way to do it.
