For the outdoor speakers, I am torn between on wall speaker facing the outside or the house. Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!
Exterior (option 1, blue): on wall speaker TBD (maybe DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY AW6500)
Exterior (option 2, red): in ceiling speaker TBD // least likely option since in ceiling speakers are lacking in bass response.
Exterior (option 3, green): on wall speaker facing towards the house // more evenly distributed speakers

Any thoughts?
I have my outdoors speakers on the wall facing out like yours in blue.
- out of the weather under eves
- better bass being against the wall
- sound projects out to the yard/pool and not to the neighbors on either side. High quality speakers with a decent amount of power provide better bass but not like having a sub woofer. I was not creating an outdoor home theater but entertaining background music environment.
Depending on how close you are to the neighbors I would face them toward the house to try and contain the sound a bit. I’d run them in mono too.
