Here is my black and white build in the brand new 011 Vision. Thanks to Lian Li for providing the case to me early. Building in it was really nice. I moved from the 011 Dynamic Mini to the Vision. I loved my mini and still do but there were definitely some quality of life improvements that have come in this generation and they made the whole process much nicer – things like the removeable rad/fan plates, magnetic door for mounting SATA/controllers, cable management and generally fewer screws.

Right now for CPU temps I’m getting as low as 36 idling but usually in the low 40s. I haven’t gotten the chance to push it really hard yet but I did boot up BG3 for a bit and it only hit 58. These are actually better than my 011D Mini but that’s probably because I was doing exhaust on the LCD AIO and switched to intake.

Your black and white build in the new 011 Vision looks sleek! Lian Li did a great job with the quality of life improvements. And hey, who needs RGB when you have those CPU temps? Impressive!

Bottom fans and AIO fans should be blowing the air opposite direction, no?

The bottom fans are reverse fans so they are intake. Before switching cases I had my radiator fans doing exhaust because it’s prettier but because there is no ability for a top fan here I wanted to make sure the CPU stayed nice and cool and so I switched the radiator fans to intake. There are now reverse-blade version of the infinity in 140s so that’s why those show the back but the bottom do not - the bottom are 120s.

The only exhaust in this build right now is the back which is why I chose to mount in “low mode” so I could have two. Still I’ve got more intake than exhaust which is better than the inverse.

Is it invertible at all? One of the selling points of other O11D cases are that they’re easy to invert, and I think having the GPU higher would make it more of a display piece. Yet, I cannot find any mention of the O11D vision being invertible

I do not believe it is - in fact when you build in it in the manual I think they recommend you not take the front glass off unless you really have to.

There are two modes, high and low for the motherboard. I agree it would look nicer a bit higher up but I put it in low mode so I could accommodate two exhaust fans in the back. The bottom and radiator are both intake and one exhaust felt like it would be pushing it.

I do like it, and if I had not bought the Phanteks NV7 I would get this, but my whole build is based on the NV7 now and have invested too much time and money into it to change now

RGB cables? We are hurtling towards a time when every surface of a PC will be RGB.

lol pretty much - I think it’s fun but I also really love seeing someone’s setup that leans hard on natural wood instead. Those are also lovely.

How’s the airflow? I’m torn between this case and the NZXT H6 flow
