So what now? I’m not a big interview guy, I’ve posted too much these past 2 days and I don’t want to disappoint this community I love. Do I repeat bands? Do I try posting songs I don’t even like, or do I just stop and let you take over?

I’ve appreciated seeing some throwbacks! Your had submissions that I haven’t listened to in 15+ years. What’s the harm in repeating bands?

I try to bring something new to the table everytime, but I guess there is a lot more I could post if I repeat bands.

    I’ve posted too much

Nope, no such thing. Maybe try posting some even deeper cuts from the bands/albums you like?

I was almost bored of metal until I discovered BabyMetal. I understand that it can be very marmitish and for many people it’s not “real metal”, but for me and many others they were a huge breath of fresh air on to the scene.

Man, go with whats kinda metal.

I’m not a metal guy but most of my friends are. When I added the String Quartet Tribute To Tool to my mix my friends noticed.

When I went to a Dan Bern concert last year one of my metal friends said “Is that the Tiger Woods guy?”

Fuck labels. He was right, the weird 90s folk singer I added to our mixes did that song.

The elitism and people caring about sub-sub-sub-genres and debating what fits where is why I got out of the local metal scene.

I’ve grown to appreciate different genres, just exploring and finding crap I like, regardless of popularity or labels.

Musically speaking, I’m much happier with this practice than trying to fit in. But I’ve always been a loner even amongst other loners, lol.

Everything ends by slipknot has been stuck in my head lately. Everyone knows wait and bleed. But as I type this wait and bleed is playing in my head. The voting will tell you but you could just spread it out more if you think you doing too much
