I’ve been having pre-carpal tunnel symptoms lately and I really want to switch to a vertical mouse, but I’ve heard from a lot of people that they just don’t have the same sensory quality that you get with a traditional mid-high end gaming mouse. This would be an issue for me since constantly do quick flicks and don’t think I can just tollerate an inferior sensor. Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing, and if so do you have any good recommendations?
I have the MX vertical and had no issues so far, I don’t use it for gaming though just for work 8h a day
I use the Anker vertical mouse CE100 for work, been a trusty simple mouse for a few years. Decent for under $25, not sure about gaming aspects though. Easy DPI switching.
For home, I tried out the zelotes C-18 vertical mouse (under $30), IMO it works okay but I don’t use the joystick as much as I thought I would. Looking for an replacement when this one dies out (been a year or two so far).
Been looking at the C-18 since it seems to have the best sensor (or at least, the best one that actually names its sensor in the product description). Thanks for the help!
I used the Evoluent Vertical 4 for 6 or so years, same mouse. Only replaced it because the USB plug broke in a dog related accident and I wanted to try a trackball. It’s been two months and I kinda miss the vert mouse.
I’m not CS pro but I found it was good enough for casual play.
Not sure what the resolution was but I suggest a trackball mouse (something like a Logitech Ergo M575) when you’re not gaming. I’ve had issues with wrist pain and found a combination of switching to lightweight mice, using mobile devices less, and wearing compression gloves really helps. Maybe also take a look at your posture when you’re at your desk because it has a big impact
I’m waiting for the Hansker mouse to go into production.
A vertical mouse with a high-DPI, high-polling rate sensor.Edit: Just realized it’s been a while aince this was posted.
Hope you managed to find something fitting.I gave up and got a Fantech Aria instead. I’ll keep an eye on this one!
