I think you’re misunderstanding u/idiosyncraticsarcasm who is saying that this idiot Polish politician Barbara Nowak is in fact a paid actor for Russia, which is why she is spreading misinformation. All the roubles she’s been paid are now worth less.

The information that she might not just be an idiot, but paid to spread misinformation, seems highly relevant.

Ah, my bad! I guess that part wasn’t too obvious if you don’t know her history.

Well done mate. Thank you for the explanation. Eventhough, with that said, I think we have pinpointed a lack of classical sarcastic education in the current generation. My generation were brought up on shows like Yes,Minister/Yes, Prime Minister, Not the Nine O’Clock News and the Black Adder series by Sir Rowan Atkinson. It is astonishingly eye opening how the current PC-Oakley generation just don’t get it.

Same. Swedes of an older generation (like me) are even drier than Brits, which caused some initial problems when I first lived in the UK. Now with the Internet I’ve learned that if I don’t use “/s” when making a joke or being sarcastic someone will think I’m serious.
