How hard is it to add c or f to the end of a tempreture

How the hell are people supposed to know if you are using celsius or fahrenheit

    I’ve never seen anybody use Celsius for cooking. I worked as a cook for five years and I’ve obviously been around cooking my whole life. It’s always ferenheit.

    I’m very curious what OPs situation is where they’re getting confusing temperatures.

      I’ve never seen any cooking appliances that use ferenheit and only seem to see that as a temperature in American recipes. But even without the units for temperature it’s obvious in those because I’m having to convert all the other measurements too.

      So I agree that it seems strange that op can’t use such clear contextual clues.
