That’s an interesting acronym choice in 2025 and I would actually guess the employee group picked it themselves maybe a decade ago. The asterisk became fairly common in queer tech circles and it had started popping up outside of tech about a decade ago but has fallen out of favor and it’s only tech I see it in anymore. The * is a wildcard character, exactly like in programming.

Nightshirts are incredibly comfy as loungewear, with the added bonus of not needing to put on pants to go to the kitchen. I grew up wearing them to sleep in and bought a few last year, they’re pretty hard to find for men anymore though.

I have no idea what you’re quoting but I knew a white South African in community college, he used to joke about applying to scholarships for African Americans because he’s an “American from Africa”. Following Bernie’s lead and doing town hall meetings in Republican districts, which is where all of these sound bites are coming from. And he’s not gaslighting us or sanewashing the actions of the GOP right now which is refreshing.

I’m not sure what else he could be doing right now tbh, he’s governor of Minnesota and we’re pretty gridlocked politically at the moment - nationally the only thing he’s got is being on that losing presidential ticket, his main motivation seems to be the Democrats winning elections to make people’s lives better even if he isn’t the presidential nominee in a few years.

Long term maybe, but short term Barron is too young and the Constitution isn’t ambiguous about the age limits - and even if it’s worth little more than toilet paper it serves the Republicans to keep it around as a zombie so they can keep pretending this is a democracy.

The Fallout games you’d expect are in their roadmap, along with Skyrim and a few other Bethesda games, so that’s pretty awesome. I still haven’t played New Vegas even though I have it on Epic because modding is a headache on Linux right now and apparently not exactly optional for NV.
