1 year agoThing is that not everyone plays every game on steam, and even some on steam require specific arguments that the average user won’t be bothered to search, even if it’s quick.
Well, most is a stretch. Don’t get me wrong I myself don’t have many games which I can’t play on arch, but there is a good chunk out there, especially with AC that cannot be played on linux yet.
All this to say that in the future linux will probably be able to reach the level of windows (when it comes to gaming), but not right now. It doesn’t help that I prefer spending 1 hour trying to find out how to boot some bronze rated game on proton instead of opening windows because I fucking hate it.
