The world gen is way better. It’s shocking how much better it is, they did a really good job. The caves are more interesting, the biomes blend better, mountains are taller and more impressive. The old gen is still nostalgic, obviously, but I’d much rather play with the new worlds.

There’s a bunch of new blocks that are nice, including some redstone stuff. There’s some new mobs, and lots of small things I’m forgetting. Honestly, on the whole, it’s been a good few updates.

It’s not official, but the new horizons mod is insane. Literally hundreds of chunks of render distance, with very low/no performance hit compared to vanilla. It’s incredible.

Yes, and its the least important part of the definition. Unless there’s intentional destruction, its not brigading. Even people who care about brigading very rarely care how people find posts. Its only when they feel people are being destructive that they care.

I disagree with your idea of brigading. It’s a public space, why does it matter how people get there? What matters is what they’re actually doing. Why would anyone care how someone got somewhere, if they’re not doing anything else wrong? And how is disagreeing with someone, or telling a bigot to fuck off wrong?

To me, the issue is trying to destroy the space itself. But honestly, if telling a bigot to fuck off destroys the space, how much am I supposed to care? Why would anyone care about a space where bigots are protected? Do people genuinely see a space full of bigots as a space worth saving?

I agree, it is difficult. And if the crushee didn’t want to keep being friends, I could understand that. I’m also not saying people should feel like they have to be friends if they don’t want to be, for whatever reason.

I think asking for a promotion would be a better analogy. You obviously (I say obviously but from what I’ve heard…) shouldn’t keep asking for a date or a job interview. But remaining friends isn’t nagging for a job interview. It’s hoping things can stay the same. I’ve not gotten promoted before, but I don’t think it’d be better to just quit. (as long as I can be okay in my current place).

I agree with most of what you said, but I really don’t see why you couldn’t be friends with someone you had/have feelings for. You can keep stuff to yourself, and be okay with being friends. Obviously the crusher has to accept that going further isn’t going to happen. You can logically know something, and behave accordingly, even if your feelings are different.
