I had a lot of fun with gotg. A really solid game with a great story and characters that you actually cared about. Dumb action that could have been a little more complex, but it worked!

The combat is the least interesting thing about the game. The world and story are really all of it!
What are you talking about? Servers rarely if ever get minimum wage, which federally is still 7.25, which is not enough to live off of. If they were making $23 in many places they’d be doing a lot better. But that’s not the reality of the situation.
Cool. So you get to look like a dick and actively make someone’s life more difficult. You not tipping doesn’t change the employers mind. It just makes someone else’s life worse. Congrats.
I’m about 15 hours into octopath traveler 2. its been a long time since i’ve played a JRPG like this one. the story and design are great so far. Getting a little bored with the grindiness of dungeons but that’s the nature of things in this type of game. The amount of choices you can make as any character with their battles at any time is mind boggling, which makes boss fights really strategic but a regular fight against grunts can be tedious.
The idea of this sounds bad initially, but I Love espresso tonics so I can definitely see this working.
I didn’t even know about this route! Sounds easy easier
Finished spectrum retreat today. Not in the same vein at all but it was a really cool puzzle game which I also like! The mechanics were interesting and didn’t get stale despite my frustration of having to do the final puzzle several times due to minor errors.
Agreed, got very bored halfway through stories with how tedious everything was. Would probably be fun with friends but I couldn’t even find online groups consistently.
My final loop was wild. I had everything in place to do it but was freaking out the whole time about the party which had screwed me over many times before. A crazy combination of luck and good timing on my part barely got me through it - incredibly satisfying.
Have only just recently gotten into persona, but I’m very excited about being able to play 3 as well as 6.
Even when the gameplay is lacking the storylines and social connections more than make up for it!
Thanks for the reply! I haven’t heard of any of these so I will definitely check them out!
Thanks! I haven’t heard of the zero escape series. What’s it about?
At least one Danganronpa is on my wishlist. Do you have a favorite in the series?
Haven’t gotten into Ace attorney. It’s definitely up my alley.
It’s excellent! I didn’t play the final cut yet. First played it on PC and will probably come back to it on PS. I’m hoping to wait a little longer to forget parts of the story before I dive back in and disappoint Kim kitsuragi again.
Returnal is a blast. There’s a learning curve but it is designed to make you feel very good as you build skill. Then there are tons of challenges after the main story that keep you interested.
Control rules. They could make ten DLCs and I’d play all of them. The world is so interesting.
My favorite part of this game was the ending, when the milquetoast lumberjack who refused to open up to me chased my car down out of love and my character basically told them that they’re insane. Clearly not an expectation of the devs that you’d choose that ending, but objectively the funniest.
