That seems like the most reasonable assumption. I mean there’s no way it was intended for combat effectiveness.
You can eat a piano, just have to do it a small piece at a time.
Instead of being a Villain, Dr Robotnik is a normal guy who keeps dealing with hedgehogs, foxes, and echidnas getting into his garden.
The fediverse has been doing great. Server issues from a bunch of new users but that’s just a symptom of something good.
You also don’t have a 50% chance the comment you’re replying to is from a bot and copy and pasted either from that post, another random post, or even the original post that a repost bot stole posted snd you are now commenting on. Reddit is a bot riddled mess.
JESUS FUCK. I can pay $20 a month for UNLIMITED movies.
Yea there’s a major difference in “playing ball” because you have no choice and willingly contributing to the corrupt system.
I remember when instead of getting downvoted for having a slightly different opinion you’d get downvoted for the minorest of grammar/spelling mistakes.
Custom medals for an instance that admins/mods could give to accounts or posts would be cool, might be a way for admins to reward/push good content. Kind of like reddit mod awards except you don’t have to give money to a jagoff to do it.
Yea I think sync for Lemmy will be one of the big movers for people. Being able to use a different site but have it look and feel 99% the same makes that switch way easier.
I mean it’s actually good they prosecuted him, shows that they will go after people who commit crimes regardless of politics. This hurts the conservative narrative.
It’s from the community r/196 on reddit which has migrated to !196[email protected] which is one of the largest communities to migrate here. There’s also [email protected] which was made about the same time and ended up being kind of the “unofficial” one whereas the one on it’s own instance has gotten more popular. “Rule” comes from the fact that it is a “rule” to post something there any time you visit.
Edited to include a summary of what I’ve done so far. I may try to go more in depth with it, but I am thinking of making a new post detailing what I did after I get it up and running fully functional. That way I’ll know all the mistakes I made and bumps encountered and how I overcame them. I will make sure to include a link to the post in an edit here when it’s done.
I just made a post about having issues with getting a fully functional instance so I think I’m gonna give this a try.
Does stealing memes from discord servers and posting them here count? Asking for a friend…
Oh shit tysm, I use the bangs all the time and didn’t even know that was an option!
I’m attempting to set up a self hosted instance so that I can control who I’m Federated with or not. Probably will just keep it open though, and I’d have to be a real asshole to get my instance defederated anywhere lmao.
