Libredirect does a similar thing on Firefox desktop. I use it to redirect all Reddit links to my locally hosted libreddit and YouTube redirects to random invidious instances so that it’s different every time.
As far as I’m aware this was possible before the api changes. I’m not sure it’s possible anymore
I just picked this up in the sale and this is a genuinely fun game. I’m not even a Warhammer fan but this is very reminiscent of Doom with both the graphics and enemy types. It’s a pretty short game, I’m about 5 hours in and just over halfway through.
I get this too, I can only view the first image in the gallery. There’s no way to swipe between images or expand the previews
To be honest I don’t see the issue with multiple similar communities. It’s no different to how Reddit would have many subreddits with similar themes. For example on Reddit there were dozens of Star Wars subs so people would subscribe to them all
If you’re on iOS you could check out memmy, it is heavily inspired by Apollo and has just been published on the App Store
You can block communities which will stop them showing up on the all/local pages. Go to the community page, tap the three dots at the top and press block :)
I found a code on LowEndBox which gives me 2GB RAM on a Linux vps for $2. I would be included to agree with you for their normal pricing though
That’s really helpful thanks. My main reason for considering switching is for availability when outside of my home. I know I could port-foward but I am concerned about the security risks of that. I might buy one for just a month or two to see how it might help
Hey I tried to join the discord using the link above, but discord said it was invalid/had expired. Any new links?
I’ve always wanted to but it seems dauntingly expensive and tricky to do. Any tips?
I used to have some generic cooling bad which I bought on eBay for around £15. It was pretty similar to this. It worked best when I had it at about a 35 degree angle and had the laptop aligned so that the cooling pad blew air over the laptop exhaust. This would both increase the amount of cool air that the laptop could suck in, and displace the hot air near the exhaust.
My laptop would also regularly hit 100c and then thermal throttle itself but the pad definitely allowed me to get a few more frames out before the throttling kicked in.
I would recommend they try memmy if on iOS. I’ve tried liftoff and Mlem too but memmy is my favourite so far.
I’m really enjoying the app and I greatly appreciate your clear explanation and transparency regarding the push notifications.
I can’t believe the size of that campus. Let alone the size of the car parks. The whole campus of the university I attended was 135 acres and yet yours has over half that amount of land dedicated to car parks.
As a long term windows users, I recently switched to kubuntu and I’m loving the kde plasma desktop. I like the look and feel of windows but not the telemetry so kubuntu really is the best of both for me.
Thanks for summarising! I block tiktok on my pihole so I couldn’t have read that even if I wanted to
I find tsohost is pretty good for both domains and hosting
I love a good bomber shooter. Personally I think hellbound is great especially if you get a good discount on it
Ah that makes sense, I hadn’t considered that https would mess this up. I actually already use libredirect on Firefox on my desktop, I was just hoping to set up a network wide redirect. Thanks for the help!
