For me it’s just youtube, the content there I can’t find or consume anotehr way and I barely watch shows and movies anymore. All the other google services I found nice alternatives to.

It is totally crazy, I was impressed by how much I already used EU-services. But also how totally controlled you can be due to USA-services. I can get rid of almost everything but YouTube has no viable alternative that is as popular so it’s my one thing I’ll keep till I find better.

I also run a homeserver with proxmox, it’s so much easier than reinstalling OS’s all the time. I run *arr stack, Home Assistant and rclone to backup anything to cloud. I used to have 3 NUC’s and play around, but since I used my old gaming tower as a proxmox server I haven’t needed to do it again.

Waiting for Proximus (and thus being able to mobile viking fiber) to place fiber in our forgotten region so I can bump those numbers up.

This is so great, I follow quite a bit of news but yours is a nice summary and also reminder of things I read and was sure to remember to then instantly forget.

It also triggers my nostalgia of waiting for the postman to deliver my next gaming magazine so I could devour it and be the “Gaming Nerd” at school and blow everyone away with my freshly aqcuired knowledge.

Joined the Revolt too, I despise discord with a passion, their app is so bloated and I would only hope we could get away with it. Revolt seems like a very good option (better than matrix)

I wouldn’t do it because I just don’t feel like being that akward (it’s already akward for me to be in a store).

Personally I feel like it died with the resolving arc from Infinity war Part 2, when Thanos got beaten. I’m good to have it left there.

GOTG3 ended their arc pretty neatly too.

And even if I watch every marvel movie moving forward, I imagine it as being alternate timeline to the true ending. (a bit the same thing as the zelda timeline with hero defeated/hero won things)

I agree on Scarlet but not on Brie Larson, I find most characters she plays to be bland or not move me as much.

While Scarlet in Lucy, Dark Blue and ghost in the shell really really make it clear how good of an actress she is.
