Both will blow a lot of dirt and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. What about solar panels or a windmill?

Cool design!
Yeah, i’ve read that captcha will be available with 18.1 again. That’d be relief for all admins.
Your’re welcome :)
btw in the meantime i’ve seen that plemora can connect, too. Isn’t in the docs though.
Beehaw is still on 0.17. A bit rough around the edges but ok. I’m really curious on 0.18 though.
answered to myself accidently.
The doc says currently only Mastodon is supported.
Keep in mind that Lemmy is basically still beta. A lot of functionality hasn’t been implemented yet.
The article is not about single persons who might be trolls or whatever to qualify as a “bad guy”. But about megacorporations like Meta. The best way to deal with them is-in my opinion-to not cooperate and defederate them as soon as they start to enter.
We should not try to include as many people as we can at all cost. We should be honest and ensure people join the Fediverse because they share some of the values behind it.
Exactly my thoughts on this topic.
It should be easy to find fitting pots or reuse cans and stuff without a 3d printer. I’d be a bit concerned though about the roots growing into the water. Some might start to rot.
Beautiful scene, very atmospheric!
The memes here are so spot on!
Procrastination for sure. Plus some kind of object blindness/forgetfulness: i forget stuff i don’t see and things i put down somewhere just blend into the landscape really soon. Even if i consciously see them again, my brain doesn’t make the connection to do something with them. Like putting them away or throwing them out.
Impressive!
That depends on how many sun hours or/and wind you’ve got at your place, how much panels you can install and of course how much light you’re using. I don’t have the knowledge to do the math on that.
Is there a free market to buy (sustainable) electricity from at your place? Or are you forced to buy from the local/regional provider?
