@MrJameGumb that’s why I’m conflicted. Converting that image to a proper pattern takes work. I can’t say how good it is. They’re upfront and I didn’t see any AI images in their catalogue for sale. My issue with this is that Midjourney allegedly is trained by using copyrighted images without the creators’ consent. There wasn’t any creativity involved when generating the image other than the prompt. On the other hand it’s (hopefully) not used for profit so I hope you see where I’m coming from.
@thegiddystitcher @discworld I was intending on buying this huge Lyndisfarne discworld map pattern. Now I have a reason. To control my spending, I’ll only buy it if I finish my current WIP by the end of November. So now I have motivation to tone down my Divinity addiction and do something with my hands.
