I don’t think it would be anymore. Modern compilers are really really good at what they do, and often manually optimizing(writing assembly yourself) makes programs slower. So unless you are very good at assembly, I would just trust the compiler.

100% agree. Haven’t seen any of the other seasons, most likely don’t want to. Have never heard anybody about them, and season 1 closes off the story perfectly. It is a very good show, go watch it if you haven’t.

You seem to not realise that “shell” is a stand-in for a lot of companies, each of which emits 5%. It is way more efficient to get a few companies than every person on earth.
