People change at the speed of convenience. They are generally willing to put up with a convenient shitty product over being inconvenienced. And yes, switching to a superior product is often an inconvenience.

Great, now rich people can get their summit selfies even faster!
Climbing Everest is dumb, just ask John Oliver
Think of it like Voltron - 3 of the 3/4ths come together to make the ultimate unified 3/4ths!
The US is kind of a lost cause, but there is an effort out there!
I hate that no-talent assclown - why should I change my name, he’s the one who sucks!
I guess it ages me that I got who the interviewers were right away but had no idea who the DJ is.
Go through all my RPG saves and use all the super powerful items I’ve been “saving” to finally see what they all do.
Wait, using Sick Time for doctor visits isn’t the norm? Damn, I guess I’ve been spoiled by unions my whole career.
Second for GNUCash - there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it, it works great!
All you need to know,
“I am watching films that were made for TCL, the largest TV manufacturer on Earth as part of a pilot program designed to normalize AI movies and TV shows for an audience that it plans to monetize explicitly with targeted advertising and whose internal data suggests that the people who watch its free television streaming network are too lazy to change the channel. I know this is the plan because TCL’s executives just told the audience that this is the plan.”
After reading some reviews, I’m going to try out Caves of Lore. Thanks!
Appreciate the link, TIL!
“The Archon Toilet refers to a Protoss tactic unique to Wings of Liberty that combines the Mothership’s Vortex ability with the Archon’s high splash damage output to destroy large groups of enemy units quickly.”
Some people work to live, others live to work. Personally, I enjoy having a life completely separate from my career. I don’t know anyone who sits around Sunday afternoon saying, “All right, it’s almost MONDAY! Glad I got through the weekend!” And I like sleep, sleep is good.
The call of the void is a Siren’s song to reject reality and embrace madness, and sometimes the tune is so very hypnotizing…
It’s not specifically what you are requesting, but your comment reminds me how much I enjoy Fallout Radio. Great songs interspersed with fictional hosts discussing all manner of things. It’s just so nice to haveusic broken up with a little bit of banter.
One of the greatest examples of the work and detail that went into the recent Fallout London mod are the custom radio stations with their fun hosts.
I don’t know how it would be possible, but imagine if within each player’s beacon they could use the capabilities of Mario Maker and/or Animal Crossing somehow? One can always dream…
If you do, get it from GoG using the FALON link to support the devs!
My understanding is that Net Neutrality is not the same as privacy. The first is concerned with providers not discriminating against the data being sent/received. The second is about tracking all the data that is being sent/received (and more).
Let me add to this by saying the disillusioned old hand in any workplace also has an important role: if management ever starts being unreasonable or makes poor/toxic decisions, the guy working there for over a decade has far more clout in calling it out than a young hire. You’ve been there long enough that you’ll know if something isn’t right, and that is insanely valuable for someone starting their career to have in a coworker.
