My buddy and I hike to keep in shape for when we take longer backpacking trips. We have this same worry when we’re on a short trail and trying to carry as much weight as possible.

Long story short it, who cares? Do you and if someone has a problem with how you’re enjoying nature then that’s THEIR problem.

One thing I’m wondering/would like to see, is a way to aggregate similar communities into a single feed.

To continue with the NFL example, there are a few different communities with than name across a few different Lemmy instances.

It would be nice if there was a way to link them within your account.

There’s a learning curve for sure, but I think I could get used to it. I’m hoping this boom during the Reddit black out helps pick up steam and we see a lot of cool features roll out in the mobile app/mornptions for fedoverse clients.
