The only posts bots should be making is mega threads for events. Content posted should be organic from the user to drive discussion and not what some bot wants to repost from Reddit/hn/etc.

I’ve already blocked several bots to improve my experience, since my feed was being overrun by bots posting to various communities.

  • The app is barely a month old and it’s extremely barebones right now. I’m sure the devs have plenty of features in mind, but it’s important to focus on getting what features are already present to work without crashing the app.

Hopefully there will be a roadmap in the near future.

  • I’ve already made my plans to settle in the Fediverse/Lemmy. Yes, it’s Reddit with extra steps, but the smaller communities, more tailored instances, and to be a part of something in its infancy compared to where Reddit is now, is really appealing to me.

Plus, this won’t be the last time time Reddit screws with it’s users. There will be more influxes of users in the future to look forward to.
