Unironically, same here. Reincarnated as a Sword was good, I’m hoping the Vending Machine is just as solid.
I did miss the science-heavy elements from earlier in the show in this season and I have a few issues with pacing of this season, but I found the season to be quite enjoyable overall. The split-cour feels rough given where we left off in this episode, but at least we have confirmation of a second half in October. The acquisition of a catalyst for continuous nitric acid production should be a big boon, I’ll be curious to see how exactly they manage to depetrify the ship’s crew, as many of them seem to be damaged. They were meticulous about reassembly earlier.
