That pallet is great for portraits, not so great for landscapes.

I never would’ve thought of hydro-dipping dice, but it’s brilliant and i imagine would be a lot of fun to do.
I really like the outer clear resin cast too, gives them another whole dimension.
Do you personally have a preference on what paint you use? I’m assuming it’s acrylic? Have you found that some brands work better than others?
These are really great. How long did it take you before you were able to consistently make dice that look this good? Do you use a pressure pot? If love to hear more about your process.
These look amazing. Feel free to link to your store.
Beautiful specimen. I’ve never had the chance to see one in person.

What instance are you on?
Hey, lurking is always an option, but even if you don’t make your own dice, you’re always welcome to post your favorite set (even if it’s a set you bought). I legit just love dice and seeing what dice others prefer.
Your link just completely closes my app, not sure what’s up with that.
I apologize for the inconvenience. I’m also pretty new to all this, so there’s a bit of a learning curve. I don’t know how to connect it to your instance, if you figure it out, i would also love to know.
For the links, i just followed the guide that’s pinned to the top of ‘New Communities’, but apparently i messed up somehow.
Lemmy.world link goes to a 404 error.
Try going into settings and check the box that says “show viewed posts” or something along those lines; they should become visible to you again.
Edit: it’s “Show Read Posts”. I was having a similar issue and that fixed it.
Welcome to the Clacksmith community. Feel free to tell your friends about us; I’d love to see this community grow and be more active.
No, but it’s her favorite gem stone in general. Her engagement ring is a real white opal (as per her request) as well, so i thought the opal dice set was a good anniversary gift.
I agree with everything you said here, but just came by to say, “Kraken in the bathtub” is one of my favorite new idioms.
I would err on the side of caution and send this back. You’ll have to go without hot water for a few days, but it’s better than installing this just find it didn’t work, or worse blow your house up.
Great movie
