I second this. Variety of communities, not generally a creepy or racist shithole, mostly neutral politics and moderation, shit just works

Maybe its because people are finally starting to realize what a creepy little fuck-nugget Musk is. Or perhaps it’s because an amoeba could engineer a better and more functional vehicle than any Tesla. We may never know considering this garbage article basically refuses to answer its own fucking question (It hints that it’s increased competition and low demand, but never really backs those claims up as the headline suggests it will).
Congrats, you captured the exceedingly rare moment wherein a cat has bent quantum physics to their will and is briefly occupying more than one location in space-time simultaneously.
Pick 3-5 basic objects, arrange, draw, repeat
Go to a park/ museum/ mall, choose something cool
Draw people on the train/ bus (kinda really hard if you’re just starting)
Find month long drawing challenges with prompts (like Inktober)
Use ai or ask people around you to pick something to draw
Set alarm, draw the first thing you see when it goes off
Put your pen to paper and make it move (seriously, don’t worry about WHAT to draw, just fucking draw. No think, just draw.)
I would recommend doing some combination of all the things people suggest. That way you can do some experimenting to find what works well for ya, and it helps prevent the burnout of doing the same thing every day. Good luck and remember to have fun!
Not that this means anything, but I’ve never seen a poster like that for the shows, not an official one anyhow. Kinda wanna make some now tho
I got a bone to pick with your caption. Cognitive biases do not come about just because time and effort is put into something, quite often the opposite, actually.
When time and effort is put into something, you will become better at it, then you’ll understand it more, then you’ll form opinions surrounding it, and then (usually) you’ll be able to make far more informed and rational decisions regarding the thing. In this context, someone that is distro hopping is time/ efforting their way through Linux and is squarely in the form opinions stage, which leads to them trying to figure out how to make the tool suit their needs better. It is simply a process of learning and understanding, not a breakdown of rational decision making.
I don’t use anything Apple, so I can’t speak on that, but I have never once had an issue with any other Anker product, and pretty much every accessory I have is Anker. You might try exchanging the charger to see if maybe you just have a defective one.
And at worst, they will kill you for perhaps being gay, trans, having a different religion, or otherwise not conforming to ‘normal’ society
Perhaps, but for a lot of people it can be incredibly dangerous or even lethal to be that social target
Not contradicting anything you said or trying to make an argument, just thought it would be a cool thing to share and let people learn about.
But if you do want some kind of argument, then I would say that while you are not wrong here, conformity has basically nothing to do with drawing reasonable conclusions and that really isn’t it’s purpose. Conformity is almost more of a defense mechanism (which can go wrong rather easily, hence this discussion) meant to keep us comfortable and prevent accidentally painting a social target on our own backs. It’s when conformity is conflated with logical reasoning that we start to get problems.
This is a little concept known as conformity, and it’s a pretty big and interesting part of sociology
It’s our own dumbass fault for making our news particularly exhausting
How the fuck the candy cane not broke
Making stuff up, but how could he!? He is going to be the president the United States. He can’t possibly lie or invent ‘realities’ like a senial old demtia patient who keeps trying to touch people inappropriately and should’ve been committed to a care facility decades ago.
Who doesn’t like a good Fluckering
I WILL STAND WITH YOU, BERATNA
VANILLA ICE CREAM IS BEST ICE CREAM
I am being tormented by soup posts, whyyyyy!? This is a conspiracy I tell you . . .
This also works if the therapist falls asleep; z z z z z
I find the blank, abyssal stare of one desperately trying to piece reality back together long enough to hold conversation, sends a pretty clear message
