It’s an ongoing shit show, and given the migration, it does affect us. So it is worthwhile to keep an eye on it.
Plus, many of us Reddit refugees cared about the communities we participated in. Even if we don’t care for Reddit as a company anymore, we do care about the communities we left behind.
Thanks. I hate that they’re real.
Two days isn’t significant enough to register as a real change. Especially since I assume most advertisers have ongoing contracts based on longer periods.
If you want to see an actual revenue impact, the blackout has to go long enough that advertisers have time to start scaling back or even withdrawing from the platform.
Substitute RiF for Sync, and it’s otherwise the same for me.
That’s why the blackout really needs to be indefinite.
I gotta watch more DS9.
Oh, yeah! Lots of folks seem to think Aro automatically means AroAce. Glad to see AroAllo rep!

Got any specific questions?
Well, Reddit the Community. Reddit the Company clearly doesn’t approve of the blackout.
Pretty sure they figure it’s all the “Leftist Libtard” subs going dark and so, yeah, they’re gonna be congrarian to that. And, at the core, the blackout is about sharing tools to produce a more inclusive community. And that’s the sort of thing /r/conservative is staunchly against. So it makes sense they’d go out of their way to go contrary to that.
Ridiculous that this has gone under the radar.
Stickied comment here is what /r/Blind, one of the most prominent fighters for the accessibility features, has to say about it.
They weren’t even invited.
How do they define “accessibility app”. It sounds like almost every third party app is more accessible than the official app. So they’re all addressing accessibility needs.
Oh, yeah. I remember that now. My parents and I use Android phones, but my brother uses an iPhone. Was trying to get all of them to get the game, but my brother couldn’t get it.
Sorry about that
Yep, and yep.
You do have to purchase the expansions separately, but every week they have one available to use for free. You can also buy first edition card sets for the expansions that have come out with a second edition (Base set, Intrigue, Seaside, Hinterlands).
Wordle. The Daily game on the Dominion mobile app.
Why would any third party dev want to return after Reddit so thoroughly killed any trust they have?
