I go for mechanics. I’m not a huge flavor guy, but I get interested with mechanical concepts and want to see how it works out and if I can make favorable combinations. I haven’t played enough 2e to know how well that works, but that’s more or less what I’ve always done with TTRPGs.
I haven’t made it through the beginner box but I definitely liked how it eases into the rules, especially as someone who always did pf1e
Looking forward to checking this spot out, I got sold on Mastodon when the bird site went cuckoo, and TTRPGs are one of my main draws to Reddit, so maybe this is perfect timing?
